"Autumn of Life"

"Autumn of Life" is a powerful short story about a man at the end of the road. The film's journey takes us back and forth from the present to the man's past as a young actor. With the death of his wife and leading lady, Peter is forced to give up his life on the stage to care for his young son. In his elderly years he remembers his wife and their life on the stage while he works as a janitor. He lives vicariously through his son who has, himself, ecome an actor and whose career on the stage has just begun. It is a story of rememberance, sadness, and joy through the memories and realizations of the aging Peter as we look at his life, both past and present.

This film is currently in the pre-production process. The filmmakers are seeking financial contributions from local Salt Lake persons and businesses who are interested in supporting local art and film before production can begin. The short film is planned to be shot on 35mm and edited digitally.
